Did a great job of explaining how things work followed with examples, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for detailed but not excessive Linux instruction.

I think the instructor needs to provide the students with information on either how to setup their own server or provide them with a means to connect to a linux server before demonstrating it in the video.

This is not only an excellent course for beginners, but also good on refreshing things, I keep forgetting to use the pipe tool myself, and a few of the I/O options. Thanks for this!

Having working with Linux for some time now, this was a great course. Not only did I learn new things but it also refreshed some of the knowledge that I had forgotten over time. The instructor was easy to understand and the overall length of the videos was very well paced.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I wanted a guided intro to Linux. This course gave me this and much more! The info on VirtualBox was a bonus that I didnt expect. I also appreciated the comparisons between CentOS and Debian. I definitely recommend this course.

I have to teach a whole load of 16 year old students how to understand and use Linux. This course has been fundamental in structuring my thinking and approach by putting myself in the position of somebody who has never used Linux before. I love the comprehensive and easy-to-understand approach of the presenter, who leaves no stone unturned, from the simplest feature to the more complex functions. Thank you!

I've taken many classes over the years for Unix/Linux and this is one of the really good ones. The instructor has a nice walk through of the details so you can get a good understanding of the basic terminology and syntax used in Linux. I would def. recommend this class to my associates if they want to learn or even brush up on some of their Linux skills.

PREFACE: I've been using linux since 2007 and have recently wanted to start taking my skills to the next level. This is the course I choose to do it and I definitely don't regret it. ABOUT THE COURSE: 1\. The Topics selected are well balanced and covered in the right amount of Depth - Taking what I've already learned from Linux I can see Jason knows his business and selected the right/best utilities to cover, covered them in the most appropriate depth, and shows you how to use them with a business context in ming. For me this was advantageous because I already have a server and a project going and could immediately practice the concepts and utilities he presented. My retention was Immediate because A. His explanations are on point and B. I have an environment to practice in. The lessons are broken down into a reasonable amount of time, and a wide enough range of topics are covered to actually HOLD my attention. - I'm working through ... The lessons are broken down into a reasonable amount of time, and a wide enough range of topics are covered to actually HOLD my attention. - I'm working through a SQL course at the moment, The presenter of that course its pretty much just cramming the content down my throat with no background on how to set up SQL and now history of the software. NOT ONLY does he show you how to set up linux in a VM, but he gives you background on the software and at the end of the course a Practical use for what you have just learned to keep your skills going. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Responds to questions thoroughly and quickly. My only thing here is bring some life into your presentation. You know your business, you clearly know how to teach I think your skill deserves the flair of excited and enthusiastic presentation.

I'm starting a new job that requires a lot of work in Linux. This course has helped me regain much of the knowledge I forgot years ago. It has also helped me catch up with some new tools. The teacher did an excellent job delivering the lectures. I can't recommend this course enough.

As someone who is not really new to Linux and Bash I knew a lot of all covered topics but nevertheless I really enjoyed watching all videos and discovering some nice features I did not know. Topics are brilliant made and easy to understand and therefore 5* from my side and a 5* recommendation to all Noobies those are interessted in Linux.
