I am a student in one of the most prestigious engineering schools in USA and I took some programming classes of course and even have some work experience under my belt . Yet, still learned a lot of stuff that wasn't taught in my classes in that are way more expensive. Worth every penny! Also instructor in this course keeps everything nice and sweet and doesn't waste your time for a second!

While this course is in no way perfect, it is by far the best programming (not just Java) tutorial that I've ever taken -and I've taken a lot of them. This course is really slow at first, but I guess that's good for a beginner. I have a moderate amount of programming experience in C and PHP, so the beginning of this course goes through the very basics of programming. It was so slow in fact, I was about to give up on it, thinking the material was way too basic. However, the course then got great. It not only teaches you the programming language (which is the easiest part of programming), but it also teaches you to think "programmatically" without you ever even knowing it. So you aren't just learning the syntax and how to put it all together, but you are learning to actually program -and solve problems with the programming language that you know. A lot of these courses just teach you the syntax and how to put it all together, but they ... A lot of these courses just teach you the syntax and how to put it all together, but they leave out the most important part, the most difficult part, and that is how to actually program. This course and the instructor teaches you this without you even realizing it by having you solve problems and sort of "tricking" you into programmatic thinking. This instructor and whomever put together this course, really knows what they are doing. This is high quality teaching at its finest and well worth the money. In fact, at the full price this is an absolute bargain, a steal! It's much better than other courses that literally cost as much as 10 times more. I have had bad luck with courses coming out of India or from Indian instructors, as it seems many of those courses are just hobbled together, while paying locals a little money to give them good reviews. So normally I try to stay away from those. However, you'd be making a huge mistake to group this course in with those. I can assure you that this course deserves every single one of the shining reviews that it has gotten. Now that's not to say that there aren't problems with this course, particularly with a few things that aren't explained very well -or explained at all. However, the instructor was quick to answer my question, even if the answer didn't really clear it up for me. Still, this is the best programming course I have yet taken, even surpassing my previous best, the famous K&R; C programming book. This instructor, and/or whoever put this course together, really should offer many more courses in this style -especially some on more advanced topics.

Defiantly one of the best Java tutorials on Udemy. Lessons are split up into easily understandable chunks and quiz questions are littered through the course to help with understanding.

Wonderful course for even those who do not have any clue about java. Every minute things are explained in detailed. 1\. Professor: Outstanding professor with great patience level to answer and clear every single doubt. 2\. Content: Very well organized to help the beginners to understand the concepts. 3\. Video: Well designed. Quizes are helpful. It would be great if some exercises are given.
