Justin and Armando bring a new approach to travel destination landscape photography. I really like how they have documented the entire process from scouting to darkroom techniques then finishing it off with prints. Not only is this course educational, it is entertaining to watch them both on camera.

I couldn't have found this at a better time, given my upcoming trip to Utah: A three hour video course on the Moab area (Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point) by +Justin Balog and Armando Martinez. The videos cover equipment, location scouting, on location shooting, and post-processing for some of the iconic views of a state that has so much to offer. Given their relative proximity and the reasonable distance from Salt Lake City, they are the perfect locations for a long weekend of shooting not far from the city and exactly what I had planned to do, so these videos perfectly fit the bill for me. I am watching the videos right now and they are professionally produced, with lots of visually engaging content and practical information. I highly recommend the course, if you intend to take a photographical trip to Moab.

I really enjoyed how easy to follow the course was. Great advice from a couple of friendly guys that clearly know what they are doing. And content that inspired me to get out and try some new things. And what a gorgeous setting. Thanks for the tips, guys!

While occasionally, success in landscape photography is born of happy coincidence, more often it is the result of knowing what to look for, and being on location with the right tools at the right time. This photo workshop covers gear suggestions - right down to an Allen wrench for your tripod, and scouting plans that will help you work around other shooters and take full advantage of the sun in composing your photos. Instructors Armando Martinez and Justin Balog share their creative vision and concrete tips in a clear and engaging way. Shot on location at Dead Horse Point, Delicate Arch and Mesa Arch, it shows you how to get it right in-camera, and make some shots others may miss. Armando and Justin take you into their digital darkroom and give detailed post-processing tips using the powerful Lightroom 5. From planning to printing, this video course gives you the tools needed to create iconic images at Moab. Recommended for seasoned ... If you are planning go to the Moab area, Justin and Armando provide invaluable tips to shooting Dead Horse Point, Delicate Arch and Mesa Arch. Even if you are not, their lessons on gear, framing and post processing can be applied to any landscape photography adventure. And those are the parts of the course that resonated with me. I am always looking for ways to improve my workflow whether it is in the field or in the digital darkroom and the best way to do that is to look at things through the eyes of other photographers. Justin and Armando each bring their own styles to this course. I learned a lot.

This course focuses on 3 amazing locations in 3 parks that all sit within a short drive of Moab, Utah. Co-instructors Justin and Armando deliver the information clearly, and do so with a slightly goofy, low-key charm that I think most students will find comfortable and refreshing. The course covers everything you need to do to visit and create great photographs, including pre-visit scouting using Google Maps, making sure you have the right gear, picking great vistas and composing your shots, deciding what time of day is best for visiting each location, capturing the shots, and finally touching up your images in the digital darkroom to make them shine. Even if you never plan to visit Moab, the skills and tips taught here transfer to most any sort of travel photography.

If you're planning a trip to the Moab area or the desert southwest in general, you'll find this class enormously useful. Justin and Armando cover everything you need - planning, scouting, gear, technique, post-processing and printing - and throw in a great deal of very helpful local knowledge. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent class on giving you an overview of shooting some of the classic scenes around Moab, Utah. If you have never been to Moab this course is a great guide into photographing Moab and the classic scenes around Moab. Justin and Armando also take you behind the scenes and give you tips on their thought process in capturing a scene and then in the post process workflow to come up with their final images. It's a great tool into learning the basic around landscape photography. This course is definitely worth the fee.

I have always wanted to go to Moab, and recently had an opportunity to but it didn't work out. Armando and Justin put together such an amazing course that guides you through what you really need to know before heading to Moab for photography. This course is totally worth the price.
