Great personality goes a long way. Learned proper practices, how to name everything, and enjoyed actually understanding the whys about everything in Bootstrap.

I absolutely loved this course! Brad really knows his material, and not only shows you how to code, but explains the reasons for a lot of the things that he teaches. Definitely get this course if you would like an excellent introduction and overview of how to code mobile-first, responsive websites - you won't be disappointed!

This is a fast pace course from Mr Hussey. His delivery is very enjoyable, the quality is very good, and the content is a little bit disappointing. Don't get me wrong, i've learned a lot about bootstrap, i just feel this isn't enough. The good thing is that it gives me more confidence and especially curiosity to dig deeper on my own and master what Bootstrap has to offer ! Thanks Again Brad for your very interesting courses ! Keep it up

It's a really "clean" course. Very well explained. Really good audio and video quality. A few things need a little updating for bootstrap 3.3.1 but besides that I totally recommend this. Thanks once again Brad!!! :)

A good introduction to Bootstrap but Bootstrap RC2 was released in Aug 2013 and has evolved considerably across the 9 other releases since then. This course still provides a solid and relevant foundation too bootstrap but some of the commands have been depreciated and others have introduced new functionality. The downloadable content at the beginning of the course is a great resources. The instruction is clear but sometimes comes at you very fast; be prepared to hit the pause button regularly to give yourself time to catchup.

This is a second course I have taken from Brad, and I must say that it is brilliant. The course is so easy to follow, and with enough practice, I am sure that the topics learned here can be out of great help for everyone willing to learn web development. I am definitely taking more courses from Mr. Brad ! 5+++++

The course handles pretty well in introducing the student to the bootstrap 3 fundamentals, and the during-development tips, like pre-organizing your HTML structure, are very helpful. Those are the ones I would like to see even more.

Hi Brad, I am on 1/3 of the end of the tutorial which for the moment seem very interesting. I like your methodology. But the video is very very very bad. I will invite you to have a look at Lynda.com courses and you will see that you are very far from her. OK. one can surely see that you did a real effort to make that tutorial which is not bad at all !!!! That is why I will give you only 3 stars fr the moment Let me finished the tutorial and I will send you my final true stars. But please, please make another video to replace that one. You will find that I will give you 10 stars as you will deserve them. Best regards, Kwame

It's upbeat and interesting. I love that he doesn't go from zero to finished - he implements in layers so you can better understand the impact that each change has. He even makes a few mistakes and walks you through figuring out what's wrong and fixing them.

My original expectation was to understand how Bootstrap works and how could it help me writing prototype sites. I decided to put aside a couple days to take the course and dive into it. Brad advises you to type throughout the course and not just copy & paste. This is a great suggestion. Go slowly, pay attention and type each and every bit of code. If you get stuck, you can always compare it to the source snippet he provides. The final website you'll write exercises lots of different Bootstrap modules, each one customized a little bit to take you a little deeper. Brad has a goofy sense of humor and is well-paced, and you'll complete the course in no time thinking "that's it?" Time flies while going through this course. I placed my iPad along my side and as Brad was talking, I was pausing the video to catch up and write my own code. I placed my iPad along my side and as Brad was talking, I was pausing the video to catch up and write my own code. My main computer was therefore clear from distractions as I worked through the content. My only advice to Brad would be to add a few extra seconds (2 would do) at the end of every typing session and right before previewing the content in the browser. The reason is that it's sometimes a bit difficult to pause and verify that what I typed matches Brad's code. These extra couple seconds would give ample time to pause the video. Do I recommend this course? Absolutely. My HTML and CSS was (is!) a bit rusty, but the beauty of Bootstrap is that it doesn't require you to know everything. I finished the course in 3 days (nice and easy, I'm on vacation! ;-) and I started working on my prototype right away. I love it. If you need to know what Bootstrap is and is not, how to approach it and create versatile, powerful websites, this course is your ticket and Brad is your driver.

In short: If you want to get yourself started on learning how to use Twitter Bootstrap, then you want to buy into this course. Brad and his videos are very clear and easy to understand. As for their pace: They can feel a bit fast at times. If you intend to follow along, you may need to a do bit of pausing-and- playing to keep up, especially if you come into this course with no HTML/CSS background (which I would recommend but wouldn't say is flat-out necessary). Personally, I don't think its as bad as I've seen some other reviews make it out to be. Thanks to what I've been learning through this course I've finally been able to start prototyping and publishing some simple websites for my first batch of clients and earn some needed freelance cred.

Brad explains each element very well, while keeping his code clean and organised making it easy to follow. As someone with some basic HTML knowledge this taught me more than just about bootstrap, it gives solid insight into general HTML and CSS. I strongly recommend taking this course

This course helped me to getting more familiar with Bootstrap. It's easy to understand but after this Course it's powerful! 5 Stars. Like every Course from Brad, the Materials are available in good Quality and the Course itself is good organised. I'm sure that this was not the last Course that I like to buy.

This course definitely helped me to have a good headstart to Bootstrap 3! barring one lecture audio quality was superb! The lecturer has a nice speed to his lectures. So just be cautious to catch it! (I love the speed!) But this course seems in need of some practise in coding. Otherwise it will be a bit hard to catch all! But if you do know some html and css3, this is a brilliant course to engage in!

It's been a very easy and intuitive to follow, the material prepared is very well done and you can notice very easily that Brad knows what is he talking about. I definitely recommend it for anyone with a basic html and css knowledge to do it to learn a super nice framework and anyone with more knowledge to acquire a fantastic way to create nice and responsive sites for his projects. Just to put a "but" here, I'd say that Brad goes a little too fast talking and writing sometimes.

I'm a seasoned software engineer (in the process of refreshing my skills) that has produced training courses at work. Most of my issues with the course are presentation style and overall polish. Brad makes several mistakes throughout the lectures that are not edited out -- some have call-outs to provided corrected information. Some technical oversights are addressed in other lectures later in the course (not with the original material). Brad makes occasional use of "filler words" (that is hard to avoid when recording). The material does assume some prior experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Personally, this was the right speed for me (experienced developer just out of date skills in web tech). Folks should have a "heads up" on that. Chances are, if you know what Bootstrap is, you probably understand the basics of HTML and CSS.
